Today, on September 30, 2020, the Rt. Revd. Dr. KALIMBA Jered, the Bishop of Shyogwe Anglican Diocese has led the launch of the Evangelism Studio which is named “Revival Studios”. This studio is part of a big plan of a Diocesan Evangelism department for spreading the Gospel not only physically but also virtually. It is obvious that the world is changing technologically, and so it is of paramount importance to use technology to spread the Gospel, as only 7 out of 115 places of worship are reopened in Shyogwe Diocese.
This ceremony was led by the Bishop of Shyogwe Diocese and attended by Archdeacons, Diocesan Staff, pastors and committee members of Shyogwe Evangelical Mission Alliance (SEMA). The important ideas about the aim of the studio were shared and the attendees were happy and committed to supporting the project for the Evangelism department to meet the goals.
In his introductory remarks, The Rev. Venant NTAKIRUTIMANA, the head of the evangelism department, appreciated the financial support provided by the United Evangelical Mission (UEM) for having the studio equipped and he further mentioned that this studio will be useful for various productions like sermons, songs, testimonies, Evangelical live concerts and many other church gatherings and activities. He further said that the revival studios will also produce services of Graphic designs to the church and community. The productions from the studio will be put on air using various methods like TVs, Radios and Social media. The Youtube channel of Evangelism department is “Revival Studios 250”and will be used for sharing sermons, gospel songs, testimonies, live worship services and concerts etc.
Your prayers and support for this studio to grow big and meet goals are welcomed
