Under the leadership of The Right Reverend Louis Pasteur KABAYIZA, Bishop of the EAR Diocese of Shyogwe, all diocesan pastors and staff gathered for a general meeting focused on ministry coordination and planning.

  • Devotion and sharing of the Word of God
  • Review and approval of the previous pastors’ meeting minutes
  • Updates on RGB guidelines concerning church registration
  • Reports on parish ministry, finances, and offerings
  • A briefing on the upcoming CD (Diocesan Council) meeting

The meeting opened with a prayer led by Archdeacon Matias from Ndiza Archdeaconry. In his welcome address, Bishop KABAYIZA expressed gratitude for the participants’ presence and officially welcomed Rev. Francis GAKUBA, Parish Leader of Butansinda, Rev. Patrice NDATIMANA, and Ms. Clementine UWAMARIYA, Bishop’s Assistant in charge of Public Relations, Monitoring, and Evaluation. The Bishop also recognized pastors assigned as deputy leaders for discipline in church-affiliated schools, as well as Arch. Joseph SEHORANA, newly appointed in charge of Human Resources within PUR.

The Bishop shared a message from the Gospel of Matthew 28:16–20, emphasizing the Great Commission.

Bishop KABAYIZA concluded by announcing an extraordinary Diocesan Council (CD) meeting scheduled for 21/06/2025 and urged all invitees to attend punctually. He commended the attendees for their commitment and called for unity, wisdom, and courage in addressing challenges through prayer and faithful service, affirming that God reigns and will ease every burden, The meeting concluded with a prayer by Archdeacon Joseph, after which the Bishop blessed all participants and encouraged them to remain united, faithful, and courageous in their service.
