An association of Opinion Leaders of EAR Shyogwe Diocese has been Launched

Today, at 27^th January 2019 at Shyogwe Diocese Head Office, 140 Opinion Leaders gathered to start their association aiming at holistic development.

The Rt.Rev.Dr.Kalimba Jered, the Bishop of Shyogwe Diocese who chaired the General assembly, explained the importance of coming together with the vision of expending the Gospel and finding all possible ways towards the sustainability of both the Church and the Nation at Large. He further said that the unity and same understanding are special tools for any destination to reach.

During the General Assembly, the task force that worked hard for this project of starting the association presented the draft statutes that will govern the association.  A provisional committee was elected to keep on working for the development of the association.  The next General assembly is scheduled on May 19, 2019 and the Final Leading Committee will be elected during this upcoming General assembly.
