There are many ways of exploring this map and all maps are good tools to help us understand and learn a range of things. Briefly, let’s look at some of the main reasons for which the map of Shyogwe Diocese was designed:
1. Education: Educating Church members to know the names, statistics and locations of Archdeaconries, Parishes and Chapels that compose the Diocese.
2. Church growth plan: Inciting evangelisation enthusiasm and plans to reach the unreached people in the sectors and cells where the Anglican Church of Rwanda has not yet planted churches within boundaries of Shyogwe Diocese.
3. Partnership facilitation: Helping friends and partners of Shyogwe Diocese to know the exact locations of the Diocese and where various projects supported by partners are implemented.
We hope that with this map, you will learn more than what we mentioned above and we heartily thank the leadership of Shyogwe Diocese and Rev. Venant NTAKIRUTIMANA, head of Evangelism Department for the effort made to have this map produced.
