From August 3, 2020 to August 4, 2020, the workers of Shyogwe Diocese, mainly heads of departments, were trained on successful project preparation and project implementation. The aim of the training was to sharpen the workers’ skills and to equip them with necessary knowledge in the area of project management.  The team of two trainers, sent by “Bread for the World” – a German Partner organization, explained why partner churches and institutions need to be highly skilled in project writing and implementation. The trainers highlighted that the projects need to meet required standards in order to be supported and they clearly explained what  to do and how to do it in order to produce a well written and implementable project. They put emphasis on “Project outcome and impact”- Life changing projects.

The beneficiaries of the training highly appreciated the trainers for a well -organised and understandable course. The package of skills and tools needed by Diocesan workers to successfully deal with project development was fully delivered. The Bishop of Shyogwe Diocese, The Right Revd. Dr. Kalimba Jered who fully attended the two day training, enthusiastically thanked the lecturers and trainers at the same for their sacrifice in equipping the Shyogwe team with the package.
